Last night at the Chanel pre-fall Metier d'Arts presentation in Dallas, Karl Lagerfeld came out guns blazing. Literally. For the rodeo slash runway show, hairstylist Sam McKnight tricked out models' hair with gold pistol-shaped barrettes, feathers, and fake hair bows (yes, like Lady Gaga's, only cooler). After matching a bow to each model's hair color, McKnight slid them onto the ends of low ponytails or perched them on top of the head, then piled on clips, feathers, and, in some cases, '50s-style cowboy hats. He also found time to document it all on his Instagram account, showing behind-the-scenes close-ups of all the accessories and a few finished looks (that's one of his snaps, above).
